Our radiology department offers a variety of radiology services to

patients of all ages across the Southwest Virginia region. The Radiology Department is located in the rear of the hospital, next to the Emergency Room.  Additionally, the department operates an offisite clinic for general Radiology at the NRV Medical Center in Pulaski. All radiology services are scheduled through your physician or other medical provider. All patients scheduled for a radiology exam should register through the hospital's Outpatient Services area located immediately inside the front entrance to the hospital.

General Radiology services are provided to inpatients and Emergency Department patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. General radiology services for outpatients are available 8am-7pm, Monday-Friday; and 8am-12pm, Saturday.

CT services are provided 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.  Routine inpatient exams ordered for weekends are done only 9am-12pm.  Twenty-four hour coverage is provided after for inpatients and Emergency Department patients. 

Ultrasound services are provided 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.  Routine inpatient exams ordered for weekends are done only 9am-12pm.  Twenty-four hour coverage is provided  for inpatients and Emergency Department patients. 

Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Services, and Mammography services are provided  8am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

MRI and PET/CT are provided on campus on a mobile unit.
